IKUKO® Original was created for people seeking a more natural alternative to sitting cross-legged. Its distinctive curved and arched seat supports the pelvis across a broad, continuous surface, helping the body find an upright yet relaxed kneeling posture without requiring an additional cushion.

The open angle between the thighs and torso allows the spine to balance more naturally over the pelvis. This can reduce unnecessary effort through the lower back, shoulders, and neck while creating more space for comfortable breathing.

Unlike conventional folding benches, IKUKO® Original uses removable solid-wood legs. Once disassembled, the three pieces fit neatly into the included cotton carrying bag for travel, retreats, workshops, or compact storage.
